Control Processes with Workflows
Workflows provide the central system for orchestrating process steps, validation, and automations. Every queue in the workflow is a stage where prescribed actions occur, whether that includes data entry, approval reviews, external processes like fulfillment or dropship handling, or automated validation and processing.
Documents can branch in workflow to follow different paths based on set characteristics, allowing backorders to wait for more inventory while dropships are sent to vendors and everything else goes straight to the warehouse for fulfillment. Best of all, this happens automatically based on defined rules, so documents keep moving without manual user intervention. No more time-consuming reviews and accidentally sending orders to the wrong place - they just follow the right path every time.
Catch Issues Before They Ship
Build validation rules into workflows to capture problem documents before they get too far. When a document has low margin or excessive discounts, or the customer fails their credit check or payment authorization, automatically send the order to a review queue for visibility, action, and approval.
