There is a significant difference between a physical inventory and a stock count within SalesPad Cloud. Please reference the following summaries of each:

Physical Inventory Count:

• Uses iPod/iPads with a sled for scanning barcodes
• Uses the SalesPad Cloud Barcode application
• Is intended for conduncting an initial count of all of your inventory
• Result in adjustments in, which appear in the SalesPad Cloud web application

Stock Count:

• Uses iPod/iPads with a sled for scanning barcodes
• Uses the SalesPad Cloud Barcode application and the SalesPad Cloud web application
• Is initiated within SalesPad Cloud
• Will display any variances in what the inventory records indicate and what was actually counted
• Result in adjustments in and out
  • Creates an adjustment in if more was counted than what inventory records indicate 
  • Creates an adjustment out if less was counted than what inventory records indicate
