Remember cursor location when switching tabs Will Not Implement

The cursor location changes when switching between tabs. For example, I have a Quick Report I run weekly that tells me items and quantities I need to order. When switching between the report window and the PO, the cursor moves from the line I was entering to the Promised Ship Date in the header.

Unfortunately this is much more complicated than it appears, and we are unable to make the cursor remember where it was when you switch between tabs. But we do have a recommendation for you!

What you can do is right-click the tab name for your quick report tab and choose to Un-Tab Window. That lets you move your quick report to another window so that your PO can stay visible. Then you can click back and forth between your PO and quick report as needed, and the cursor stays in the same place because the PO tab is still visible. If you’d like to re-tab your separated quick report window, you just need to right-click at the top of it and choose Re-Tab Window.

See below for a screenshot of the Un-Tab Window option. We hope this helps you!

Thank you for this idea! I have created an internal case for further review.
