Quick Report Search Fields Filter Other Search Fields Future Consideration

It would be nice for some reports if there were the ability to set up the report so that search fields can be targeted to be filtered based on results from other search fields. Something similar to how the Item Attributes functionality works, where the search fields to the right are filtered by the search fields to the left.

This would make some reports much more useful. A basic example would be a Quick Report that displays items and serial numbers. There would be search fields for both item number and serial number. The serial number would be a dropdown (single or multi-select) that would display a list of serial numbers in the system. Entering an item number value in the item number search field would filter the serial number search field to show only serial numbers for the item number entered.
