Edit Purchase Order User Fields In Historical PO Header Future Consideration

When a User Field is added to the Purchase Order Entry header via a custom layout, that user field cannot be edited on historical POs. It can be edited under the User Fields tab, but not on the header. We would appreciate if Purchase Orders were handled the same way as Sales Documents, it is possible to edit user fields on a historical Sales Document header.

Thank you for this idea! I have created an internal case for further review.

When I enable/disable the ability to save historical documents, that toggles the editing behavior of UDFs. Don't need to navigate to the UDF tab but can edit them within the header or wherever I've placed them. I tested this in Sales Document Entry so it may differ some for PO Entry windows. Check how save is enabled for the PO Entry window. For Sales Doc Entry its: • SalesPad logo > Security Editor > Sales Document Entry > Can Save Historical Documents • SalesPad logo > Security Editor > Sales Document Entry > Can Save Void Documents I thought there was another setting that enabled/disabled being able to edit UDFs on historical docs but cannot find it. There is a user group read-only setting for UDFs but it does not sound like that applies here.
