Add a "Match Ending" checkbox to the Inventory Lookup window Will Not Implement

Currently in the Inventory Lookup window, we have the option to "Match Beginning" when searching, which only returns items beginning with the search criteria. It would be useful to also have a "Match Ending" checkbox, which would essentially allow a user to find an exact match if both boxes were checked. Some of our item numbers are only 3 or 4 characters long and other items exist with the same beginning so we would appreciate the option to find an exact match.

We recently reviewed this request with the development team, and have some recommendations for getting exact results within the Inventory Lookup screen using existing functionality.

Setting the Custom Search > Search Field value to ‘Item Number’, and updating the Search Value operator to ‘Equals’ will return exact when a search is made with the Custom Search field.
Additionally, enabling the autofilter row on the Inventory Items grid through the right-click menu, and setting the Item Number filter parameters to ‘Equals’ allows easily filtering to an exact match.
